Uconnect 4 4C 8.4" LCD Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram 2017-2023

Has your 2017+ Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram with the 8.4" Uconnect infotainment system begun to delaminate or bubble? With delamination comes erratic ghost touching causing your settings to be changed and calling your contacts. Welcome to the club!

The marketplace is seeing a considerable increase in failures of these infotainment screens over the last few months.

Based on customer complaints, we see the screens failing about 1-3 years into the ownership of the vehicle. We have discovered that the gel adhesive will begin to separate from the plastic touch layer and cause delamination and bubbling that will worsen over time.

This delamination of the adhesive causes the following issues:

  • Random setting adjustment

  • Unable to control settings, AC, calls, phone, radio

  • Erratic or accidental ghost touching

  • Embarrassing, unsightly appearance

Like most vehicles, this failure happens when you're outside the warranty period. The dealer will then present you with a $1,400 to $3,400 bill to replace the infotainment unit. So be warned, if you go this route, be prepared to deal with this every couple of years.

So the dealer option is undesirable since you must leave your vehicle for a few days. We understand your time and availability of your car are most important. We provide on-site services, so you don't have to leave home. Installs only take an hour to get you confidently back on the road.

We offer a patented gel-free touch display assembly. In addition, these screens do not have a defective factory design, so they should last throughout the ownership of the vehicle.

WHY DID MY OEM SCREEN FAIL?

The #1 Cadillac CUE & Chrysler Uconnect Touch Screen Replacement On The Market Today!
Saving you up to $1200 by skipping the Dealership!

GM & Chrysler Engineers use a Gel-based substance to adhere the touch-screen glass to the outer plastic on the touchscreen.

Environmental conditions such as extreme heat and cold dry out the gel and cause hardening and cracking. This makes the OEM screen unresponsive or cosmetically unappealing.

On rare occasions, gel drying becomes uneven and causes random or erratic touch responses. These unexpected touches are unsafe and distracting and can be dangerous while driving.

Our Screens Are Guaranteed to Fix the following:

Cosmetic Defects - Cracks, Delamination, Bubbling and Peeling.

Unresponsive or Frozen Touch - Stuck on the "Do not take eyes off the road" page.

Erratic Touches & App Engagements - The screen had been rendered useless.
